cccam tut for s*y tv cards

everyone is asking how to get sky uk clearing on your box with a genuine card. there are threads but its alot of reading. this step by step guide DOES work if you do as it says


ok 1st you will need cccam installed on your box

!! CCcam 2.1.4 Download !!

or via your blue button(depending on image)

also install an ftp client on your pc

filezilla FileZilla - The free FTP solution

to get sky working you need to find your box key, so

Heres how we get your box key

get the serial from the sky box(sticker on the bottom of the box)

put in to this site NDS boxkey generator

Now we have this number : 51ACD11 But BOXID format is : 00 11 22 33 (numbers are examples)

ftp to your box using filezilla or other software(use ip of dreambox user and password)

go to folder /etc

right click on cccam.cfg and edit(opens in notepad)

Now look for the lines BOXKEY: /dev/sci0 00 00 00 00 (if not there copy and paste this line)

replace the 00 with your boxid

ie

BOXKEY: /dev/sci0 51 AC CD 11

save and upload

restart cccam


once this is done you should clear channels

check the entitlements via your web browser

http://ipofyourdreambox:16001 and put user password in

all good

guys if anyone is looking for a tutorial i have a link to a good tutorial thats suitable for newbies ,it has lots of pictures and covers flashing the box to installing cccam and editing cccam . i cant post the link here but if anyone wants it just send me a pm and ill be happy to give it to you .

ive always used 2.1.3
