Hi i was just curious how are the cateye files updated ?? Is there a program that deletes moved chanels and replaces the new ones,thanks .

probably misunderstood i was not looking at how to uplaoad the cateye files thats pretty easy , but how to make my own files when channels change frequencies etc eg do i have to use manual/Automatic scan or blindscan etc......

hi zak on my vu+ i go kingofsat (website) look 4 channel frequency of ie bbc1 then on vu+ manual scan/single transponder on 28.2,then input new frequency+symbol rate+fec of bbc1 then search/exit out, then i select my satellites list then on sat which channel i just scanned in look in the new of 28.2 scroll to the channel (bbc1) press menu button then select add service to bouquet so it would be 28.2 uk bouquets/entertainment,mite work for u depends on box u have cheers shaun

Thats why the program is called Dreambox edit the 'Edit' part is the clue its not just a channel list uploader to your receiver its primary objective is for the user to edit any channels that may have changed and/or sort into favourite groups etc.. and then upload them
