I just ftp-ed the ipk file to the /tmp folder on my box and installed it from there.

On my VIX box, I went to Menu-->Setup-->VIX-->Install Local Extension.

Reboot

The plug-in should now appear in your plug-ins menu. Just start it from there and go through the set-up, then run it and it will automatically download the bouquets.

Same for my DM800HD SE, except to install I went to Menu-->Setup-->Software Management-->Install local extension

I did not need to install dvbsnoop. It was either there or installed automatically by the plug-in.

I tried that on my Dreambox 500s but when I browse to the tmp folde it doesn't see anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Nope its a script that runs and so has no need for any other interaction with anything externally

Updated to the latest version today. I'm getting the following error now.
Running OpenATV 5.1 (kernel 4.0.1)

I've checked permissions etc and am still confused as to why this is happening:

Is there any way around this method though, as I have authentcation enabled so I can log in to my box remotely using username and password, and stream sports etc from there.

Added Wales region.
Added services and TP to "create lamedb" section.
Supplement file updated for new viewable HD channels
Swap file edited. Added BTSport/Euro HD swap. Target LCN now referenced first. Still works the same way.


Renamed autobouquetsreader.sh4 to "autobouquetsreader(sh4_receivers) to avoid any confusion between ".sh" and ".sh4".
If you have a receiver with a SH4 CPU eg Amiko, you still have to rename the file. Refer to lines 16-19 of readme file.

I have an Enigma2 box. Do I need both of these files or just the latter, please? Half the time when I update stuff like this it seems to go wrong. I'm using an Openpli image.

Can not seem to configure autobouquet maker

I seem to be having problems with this on a dm800se with blackhole image. (I normally have no problem with e2 boxes setting up abm)


After install I normally find it in menu..Setup? Service Searching? AutoBouquetsMaker (BUT it's not there)

If I go to plug in's it says "autobouquets e2 28.2, please first set up by pressing menu button

all I have in service Service Searching is
1. Tuner Config
2. Default Lists
3. Auto scan
4. Manual scan
5. Satfind
6. Positioner Settings

anyone know where I am going wrong please

That for the autoboubouquetsmaker plugin, iirc for the autobouquets e2 plugin it's
Green button - Highlight AutoBouqets E2 - OK button - Menu button
however, as I use ABM now I might be wrong, good luck
