theres no need to use cccam and oscam together. Oscam as reader and server works very well and you are still able to issue C lines by using CCcam protocol or whatever line using other protocols.

Personally I would use Oscam on its own.

Can you issue both C and N lines using this setup ?

flashwizard or dreamup

can i flash this using dreamup or do i have to use flashwizard. i find flashwizard confusing and hard to use.

im a newbie

So does this include everything such as the epg, and channels. I am a newbie.

So all I would have to do is put my cline and fline in then it should work, and what is a fline

the easiest way of all is probably to telnet.

1. unzip image and FTP it in var/tmp (rename it backup.img)
2. Open 'Run' in windows, type 'cmd', press ok
3. type this: telnet 192.168.xx (the IP of ur box)
4. login as root/dreambox
5. type this: cd /var/tmp (press enter)
6: type this: eraseall /dev/mtd/3 && cp backup.img /dev/mtd/3 (press enter)
7: type this: reboot (press enter)

then it reboots with the new image
