Connect with FTP - what to save?

I'm planning on changing images on my Dreambox 500s+ - but first I thought I would backup essential files. I am currently running a Gemini image with ccam and am planning to change to Commando or Pli. What files should I save before flashing with a null modem cable? Thanks for all your discussions as well. It's a lot of help when your trying to make sense of it all PS: Backup with Dreamup doesn't work so thats not an option. And transfering ALL the files via FTP gives me some "Failed transfer" messages. (Probably in use by the DB)

Teemo the only file that you need to save is your cccam.cfg file if you use a server and you will find that in var/etc.
A different image will require compatible plugins/extensions.
