You seem to have messed with default settings and gotten yourself in a bit of a muddle. Using BLUE > Tuxbox Commander, navigate to the /var/etc folder (it's one level up from where the helpfiles are kept) and if you see a file named .bq01 then DELETE it.

Run AutoBouquets and the next time GetEPG loads, you should have full EPG throughout your "Entertainment" bouquet.

Since i installed this ive had problems with lip sync..

I have to tune out then back in pretty much every few hours..

Like now.. for instance... begining of a film.. way out of sync... then now with 10-15 mins left its out of sync... .. apart from that.. this image gets the best out of a crappy little ?50 receiver (even though i bought it when it was first released )

Is there any FTP method to upgrading from 14.6 to 14.7 wihout having to reflash via cable?
I have read every page of this thread and no joy so im guessing im either blind or it cant be done?

put the commando 14.7 in the temp folder of the dm500 via a ftp client
and goto image upgrade via the blue button (i think) on the remote

Hi

As said above put commando 14.7 image into temp folder with a ftp program
Then on remote menu/sevices /image upgrade (its at the bottom of the menu)
Press ok and follow on screen instructions

Just a quick one - how do I manually add transponders? Such as... 11053.00 V 300003/4 - Cant seem to find that page anywhere!

Are you guys on 28.2?E or another sat? /var/etc/satellites.xml is what you're looking for.

Not exactly what I'd call objective feedback, s_r! We will await some more detail from you before attempting to reply to your issues, m8.

For example- "stopped updating channels". Can I safely assume that at some point since the Sat 06 April online update being applied, AutoBouquets has perhaps stopped working for you? If so, at what point, please? And does this still happen when trying it with your earlier backup image? (AL's guess: yes)

Lip-Sync issues: Are you seeing this problem on ALL channels, or only on some? More info please, as I cannot replicate this here at all...

Play fair with us please, as your post was, well, a bit disheartening, to say the least...

meant to edit and add to it in the morning after rollback to see if problems where still there ,

l was havnin problems with the epg and some times the bouquets were missing and only 2 left interactive and one other

lip sync on fta channels as well as movies , out by alot sometimes . just have to change channels and was ok

might be a bad flash , lm daughter has this 14.7 but l didnt update hers last time

its fine again now tho ? will do a clean reinstall when l get a chance incase its a bad update

, posted a 12pm after the wife said she couldnt choice any channels
