yes mate I did. what I did was ran the online update and then stopped short of running the autobouquet. then I frog's into box to var/etc and then deleted the version file. then I rebooted the box just to be safe and then ran the online update via menu and utilities. and then updated and ran the auto bouquet. worked like a dream.

Have update and rescanned and have looked carefully not under venus channel.
Have reflashed from scratch it shows up but when i click on the channel says not available when i scan it it disappears can't find it is a fta channel.
Any help please and thank you

you might have a signal problem or faulty lnb or tuner.Have update and rescanned and have looked carefully not under venus channel.

Just checked, and "ARY World" is FTA for sure. Zap to your BBC1 channel and report back on what SIG and SNR readings you're getting, please.

I used to have the f3 box i now have f5 box and the dm500 box belongs to my brother in law which i put this software on hope that clears the confusion up. The other boxes get the channel have checked and have been watching it, as my previous posts the problem is related to the dm500 box which has this software on which i put on by downloading from the OP and it was there when i did not scan but the channel said error then after i scan it dissappeared.

For the record, you can have a good signal strength showing on the box but have a poor satellite signal when tested from the dish. this is because the boxes have sensitive tuners..
In essence your dish could be out of alignment and the box still shows a good signal strength.
When i say out of alignment it will be a fraction out..

I did have this problem a couple of months ago had the guy up to realign the dish it is possible it has moved again as where the dish has to go there is no protection from the wind and it has been windy far too much, i call out the guy again if it really becomes a problem but brother in law will have to do without. Thank you for the help.
