Commando 14.7 DM500 Release

Just updated to this image and am pleased with it. The only problem I am having is mounting the memory stick attached to the router. I can mount to the pc hard drive no problem, but it will not mount the memory stick. The router is a vodafone HG556a and automatically formats the stick as a Samba file system ( no option to change this ). Have tried all the mount options but none seem to work. Have also looked at the neutrino.conf file but cannot see a problem. With the previous image I was using ( Evolution 2.7 ) had no problem with the mount. Any Advice? Thanks in advance.

@tmontana: Looks like you have signal issues. Dish size / alignment? LNB? Cabling? F ends? To verify, try your box on a m8's setup who does have AutoBouquets working, if possible. That helpfile is old hat and redundant, so nothing to worry about.

@awbhatti: Subtitles (if available) would be on BLUE > TuxText (I guess?)

@lfc84: MENU > 2 > GREEN

@daverave53: Sorry, Samba is a no-go in C14.7

I dont think its a signal issue Al as my vu duo works flawless on the same satellite cable

Also a regular service scan picks up all channels

Your initial 3 min time-out problem is NOT a scan as such, just a grab of the latest stuff from 28.2E for an Update Scan (5 mins) to work on after it's grabbed. ..

It usually takes from 40 to 90 secs to suck down. If it hasn't after 180 secs, then we put you back as you were. Please remember we're in the middle of peak strength Sun Spot activity at present, in it's 11 year cycle. This disrupts satellite comms and all sorts of other stuff, intermittently...

it happens after prolonged viewing of the same channel..

Got a few other things to buy first but as soon as possible I'll be dumping this box as the lip sync issue pisses me off.. yeah turning over isn't an issue but it's annoying and the mother's x2 always say out of the sync.. blah blah..

Can some one help me as I have flash via null modem cable, I did tried via telenet but after falsh when i reboot the box I got the first commando picture after that whit screen and box no respond to remote.

I am trying 4.7 flash.

I did tried this image from many sites as i was thinking may be flash is crupted but yet no joy.

4.6 was working very fine though.

any idea?
