Hi, I have added the new satellites.xml to my box and restarted. The ran AutoBouquets, after a few minutes I get an error message saying that AutoBouquets has failed.

Any chance of seeing your bq-error.log file from the /var/log/ folder, please? As the info you've provided is very scant to work on...

I can tell everyone that Sly still haven't finished this exercise yet, so we're all on a white water ride, in a state of flux, with daily surprises and disappointments still ocurring after nearly two weeks...

Be patient, don't panic, stay calm, and don't blame the middlemen (who have no control whatsoever as to what is going on 23,500 miles above the Equator on the NEW 28.2E satellite!)

ps: don't forget to REBOOT after updating the new satellites.xml file. If there is still a problem in AutoBouquets, keep retrying every hour or two...

Hi, sorry if this is the wrong place, but I'm having a mare. I cant connect to the box anymore using Dreambox Control Centre. I can web into the box fine, I can ping it fine. I have even set a static reservation in my router. Tried numerous reboots, tried just using an FTP client but no luck at all, tried using putty, get an error.
Please help, I'm getting "Error 10057 in function Send, socket is not connected". Is there another way I can re-flash and start over?

Just reflashed my box then updated with the satellites.xml you recently posted and ran autobouquets again and now all working again. Thanks!

Have you just reflashed with another image? Your query is exactly what happened to me today, webif working, breamedit even ftped in but it wouldn't do it for DCC, turned out the image had its own password (openpli) and not dreambox, the usual one. Hope it helps.

I cant even FTP in, how can I go about reflashing?

The wierdest bit is it did let me connect at one point, I managed to load the new satellite file to attempt to fix the autobouqet issue, then when i went to load the file in the previous post I couldnt get in.

I've done an online update then rebooted. Followed by updated satellites.xml and rebooted. I am getting an error from autobouquets:

"Primetime" and TSid 0822 were fine as at 07:15 this morning, so you suffered a temporary shutdown or loss of 0822 last night. Try again and you'll probably be okay.

At least it restores your box to how it was to begin with now, rather than that mess of a huge bSkyB bouquet...

Hey, ITV1+1 is a diferent region to ITV1 ??

Ive done all the auto bouquet thing... still the same??

If you inspect your services.xml file with Notepad++ and then 'search' for "ITV" and then 'count', it will have found 17 - these are all the regional variations for "ITV"

Then repeat the exercise for "ITV +1" and it will find 10 occurrences. Synopsis? Not all regions yet have "ITV +1" from BSkyB. So TC makes sure (in SML) that everyone gets a fair share.

For the seven regions that don't have a dedicated "ITV +1" channel yet, we use the closest geographical one we can find. Tell us what area you're in please, and which "ITV +1" variant are you getting?

OK AL I will keep trying I've been out of the country for 4 weeks and come back to this chaos

as a result of the auto-bouquet scan not working i am not getting bt sport. is there any info that i need to provide in order to get this sorted?

Just a note to add: I removed the satellite cable from the dreambox and put it into my sly box. I was then able to watch bt sport. so i know the cable, LNB and dish are functioning ok
