At the time of posting, there have been 273 downloads of our C14.7 23/10/2013 update image, so the attachment is kosher. I just tried downloading it back to source, but it doesn't seem to want to know....

Hello All,

Having a bit of a mare with the DM500 in the front room -- and hope you can all help in some way.

I tried to get BT sports yesterday and it said chanel not found so I ran autoboquet from the menu. It completed and at the end said there was something wrong with chanel "Playboy" but not a problem if we are connected to the internet - which the box it.

After that, it said it didnt resolve the problem. and was cancelling scan --- sorry my terminology is not as it was on the screen, but the meaning of the messages are right.

Now I have no channels and when I go to service and run a scan I get a message saying cant find any transponders? I reboot the machine, run a scan and it finds a few channels, I then run autoboquets again but then there are no channels again?

Is there a way to resolve this without a reflash? Can I send info to the box such as a channel list which will sort it?

sorry i am new here i just installed this image and i have problem now connecting with dreamset or dcc to put buqets i don't really know what to do i can login to web http without a problem but at dcc and dreamset i cannot so what can i do thanks

Hi guys i have four dm500s running commando 14.7 newest online update but for some reason on 1 of the box's i cant seem to get epg stream to work .

The channels are all great on every box as its on a quad lnb

any suggestions

swap around time, to find out if it's a) dodgy port on LNB, or b) dodgy PSU on one of your boxes, or c) dodgy tuner on one of your boxes?

Having two or more boxes makes problem-solving a LOT easier, LOL!

I have just checked and now no its the box' But the big question is why? think we need to roll this back a little now.
all my box's were working fine until the weekend when i decided to add a new box and cable to my static disc' i fitted a new quad lnb and fine tuned the dish' the signal was much better after i tweaked it .
The question is ? maybe the signal is now to strong i noticed on the dodgy box it struggles to get certain channels like boxnation' which i know has to be a good signal strength.

Thing is it was fine before i changed the lnb
I have tried every feed in the house with the same results
confused

as you have tried useing other feeds / power packs personly i would reinstall
from scratch the firmware on the iffy box.

thanks psats i already done that' infact i made a backup on the working dm500s and ftp'ed it into the dodgy box.
then installed the backup image.

not sure if a good flash with the null modem lead is better what you think ?

hi guys iv had a 500s on pli for years im trying this and its amazing but i cant see $ch as no os*cam ect , iv read its in the menu but im lost , does this image have and download plugin section? for skins rxtras ect? if so pleases advice , thank you

have read of the notes in the tuxbox editor
add to var/bin/emu

There is no plugin download section with the image so you will have to download and install the files you need manually, not a big issue. Have a look at the 'Hints and Tips.txt' file which is located in /var/etc/info, this should help you out.
You can uses the built in TuxBox Commander to view file or use an FTP program to open it on your computer.

thanks pal , i cant get the new os##m working on any image , in the past there was away a helpfull sole uploading images with os/cc 2.1.3 on 500s
best image was darkstar2 with os and cc 2,,1,3 if any one has a working image with the latest bits and bobs , pls pm me

Can someone please help me I am going mad I cant get a new satlittes xml onto 14.7 it makes screen go black but i do notice the details of the xml file are displayed in different order than the xml file in the box

any ideas anyone please
