I have CCcam running in the softcam menu, I also have followed the post in this thread on how to install MgCamd, It's showing in the softcam menu, But I'm just reviving a blank screen... Any idea's?

Could anyone suggest the tool needed to flash the image on a DM500s box, please. Any simple steeps or guide to follow would be nice.

I have Nabilosat DarkStar and the box have since become difficult to access over the network.

Or .. try searching using g..gle for 'a newbies guide to setting up a dm500s for' if you cannot use dreamup.

On my DM500 it is in /var/etc.

I assume you are going to use DCC to make the change .. if so, remember to take a copy of the original .. you just never know.

Also, I suggest you do what I do/did .. use DCC to view all of the files in all of the folders..some will be readable, others will not BUT if you do do this then always use 'view' .. you don't want to accidentally change something.

Well .. that's where it should be .. as far as i know & a simple search for dm500 cccam.cfg brought up a number of solutions .. and that's where it should be.

It seems, for whatever reason, your file is missing.

Presumably you followed my suggestion of using DCC to look through the other folders.

If you haven't a file then look through some of the replies on this link https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=dm...sm=95&ie=UTF-8

to see how to get a cccam.cfg file.

One other minor detail, it may help someone else if you gave some idea of what dreambox you have and what image you are using.

Any idea on how to get the correct region on ITV+1 as im getting london news.. yet on 3 im getting my correct region?

We watch ITV+1 allot due to work purposes!

hi all ive got a little problem with the new commando image all working fine...but wen i power off my box to stand by with the remote it turns off but wen i try to turn it bk on green light comes on but nothin happens ??? i have to pull power cable to get it bk on ...any ideas folks plz

Press -menu- services- bouquet editor- entertainment- press green on remote to add channels- scroll thru list and find all itv +1 channels

I added them all then went back to see which were which region as they they dnt say until i watched each one then i went back did the first 5 steps above again and deleted the channel regions i dnt want
