Error messege when opening .rar file

downloaded .rar that contained the flash image/s and got the following

"Cannot open file: it does not appear to be a valid archive"

can anybody shed any light on this? its completely new to me

its not complete file or download was interuptted, what file was it. from this site.

yes sir was from here commando 14.6 but also i tried others (just to be sure) they are coming out with the same thing :-/

Have you installed winrar on your PC?

.rar files are proprietory archives, if you dont have winrar, just google it, its a free download.
