Opinion about DM 500 hd and DM 800 SE

Hello to everyone.. I currently own a DM 500 S and thinking as to which should I choose between DM 500 hd and DM 800 SE to replace it. I have read all the specs of the two models but any opinions from existing users would be much appreciated.

    Thank you in advance

i have a dm800se clone , and its the dogs bollacks , more powerful than the standard dm800pro and can stream mkv over home network perfectly without vlc
the 500hd aint really been a big hit , the clone of it is a poor seller as its buggy ,
imo i would go for the 800SE clone , ?160 delivered from china is a lot for your money , but the standard dm800 pro is a good time tested unit for ?100

Thanks a lot for the info. I 've already ordered the DM800 SE clone after some browsing around the net. I hope its going to be a value for money receiver as you say. I want to use a some original local cards such as ( NOVA Greece, SKY Italia , JSC Sports) on my dreambox to share with friends but i dont have the slightest clue. I am reading around different sites but any help would be much appreciated as to how to start.

        Kind regards
