dm7000s.. ERROR flash erase failed

help needed ..with dm7000s ...when trying to flash using null modem i get ( ERROR, flash-erase failed, box will be unusable now!!) ......so i tried to use (erase.img) file to clean up every thing and start again didnt work i get.. (error Found no valid jffs2 in image flash-erase not supported!)... tried with different versions of dreamup still box lcd stuk on orange display with dm logo ,out put to tv black screen .tried to up load the original image for box still didnt work getting the same error ......>note box never been flashed before had the original enigma on it before this and was 100% working <. .....does any one know how to fix this ... or what might be causing this error !!!

You are using an Enigma 1 erase.img when trying to erase it?
