    western digital hard drive

    got one of these today for my dm 7025+ install went ok i think (500g) how long does it take to initialize my dm has been hanging for a hour its saying initializing one moment

      my 500gb esata hdd took 3-4mins max on my dm8000, i had trouble with my dm800, so to get it working correctly i reinstalled the oem image from dreammultimedia website, it then saw hdd & formatted it, i then re installed the aftermarket image & all was fine

          now my next problem got shot of the 500G hd got a250 one installed it and formatted it in the dm menu started to record every thing went ok untill i tryed to play back my recordings they will not play back although every thing is their in video any one ever had this
