sim2 just released the new secondstage loader ssl-84b
with this new ssl the user will be able to use original drivers 9-11-2011 without modification or adding old files
the new ssl is used only with drivers 9-11-2011 and is incompatible with old drivers
advice to use only the patched images with new ssl84b and with original drivers 9-11-2011

attached files for nfi and bin versions , ipk version will follow

installed secondstage ssl84a and then tryed ssl84b on my pli image, went into Tspanel/system information dreambox crashes green screen..dreambox was ok on ssl82.any idea why the box crashes using either ssla and sslb secondstage..

Just installed the BCM4505 tuner in my 800HD PVR clone (M-tuner damaged somehow); ssl82 can't find the BCM tuner so upgrading to ssl84 should work I read. Let's try!

ssl84b installed correctly, boots and menu works well, but he can't find the BCM4505 tuner!? If I plug-in the old M-tuner it recognizes it immediately.
Anyone a sollution?

After ssl84b flashed, I tried to re-flash again. Now I get this message in IE:

"Request failed for: /web/vol
Status: 404 Not Found"

Anybody knows what the problem is? Thanks!

thanks a lot for these files. I am a newbie and just bought a Dreambox 800 HD SE... When I received it, I discovered it is a clone (thanks eBay...)... but it worked correctly during a few days. And suddenly, today, it refuses to boot... I read in forums that it can be becaus of a corrupted OS.. so I try to flash it back, following a tuto so named................. Some people seems to say that it is working, I just hope so.... And for that I ned the second stage for 800 SE ...

hi guys , my DM 800hd is stuck on loader screen , I read that I have to update it because something is corrupt , I got the ip and logged into the box via IE , the info is this : Dreambox Second Stage Loader BUILD #76, built 20100419from this I gather its a #76 bootloader and a 2.01 sim , my box is a clone , what files do I need to get my box up and running again?thanks for any help , im goin round in circles readiing all these tutorials
