Its not an image problem, Mfaraj and the other Devs are aware of the issue.

In some instances you cannot use the update from 5.0 and 5.1 or even after updating and restarting enigma it will not show as a plugin or in the menu.

If you ftp the ipk to your DM and then update as a local extension it will work.

I would be grateful iof you could explain how to update to an extension. I am aware that you ftp the ipkg package to the temp folder. Then install ipk plugin. What do I do next. Thanks.....Geoff

version 5.4 should work with old images like phoenix
if not any working previous version installed then the best way to install
1-copy the ipk file from here (after unrar) to tmp folder
2-copy this command to dcc-telnet window and hit enter

opkg install -force-overwrite /tmp/enigma2-plugin-extensions-tspanel_5.4_mipsel.ipk
