    hi .. I would like to say that I am completely new to the dreambox world and I have dreambox 800 HD clone. my question is can you see on TV channels without dish via dreambox then only via Internet .. Thanks for your help

    No you need a dish unless you have the cable box and servers for these are rare as hens teeth,

      if you have a DLNA tv or DLNA blu ray player or a PS3 or XBox 360
      and find sat tv streams on the net
      then use serviio
      you can watch them on your tv

      no dish or dreambox


      heres a few to get ya started
      google will cough up loads if you look hard enough

      you can test in vlc to see if they work
      media/open network paste in click play wait 10 secs to start
