VlcPlayer Plugin Help

I need help pls. I have DM800 with OpenPli image. I want to use vlcplayer plugin to play download movies from my laptop thru DM800 to TV.

I've installed current Vlc media player on my laptop. The movies are on d:/movie on my laptop (Directory shared).

I've follwed this link :

to setup up both vlcplayer on DM800 & vlc media player on my laptop.

This is my setting on DM800:
Server Profile name: PC-01 (Name of my laptop)
Enter VLC-Server as : IP Address
Server Address: 192.168.0.xx
HTTP Port: 08080
Movie Directory: d:/Movie

The rest are default. Anytime I want to connect, I keep getting - Error withe Server:

urlopen error [Errno 145] connection timed out.

From my laptop I can open 192.168.0.xx:8080 without any problem.

Can anybody pls help me out.

Update

I eventually found the solution. For those who are interested, here is what to do:

1. Download and install vlc player version 1.0.5 (you can get this from filehippo)

2. Follow this link

to set up vlc player on both your laptop & DM

3. Enjoy your films/movies.
