Hope i m in the right place to post tis problem , with dm8000 bought about 4 years ago and suddenly by coincidence I discovered that I only get sound from the left ch and no sound from the right channel.
When I istalled the DM I did not use the cable supplied with the unit because it was too short to reach my TV so I purchased a DVI to HDMI adaptor and used a long HDMI cable.
Then recenly discovering this on some forum, It came to my attention that I had to use the original cable to get both channel sound. So today I fitted the original DVI/HDMI with a HDMI female to female extender to tv , and stil no joy , no right channel. I playd with AC3 settings but no success.
Is it a driver problem, the image is open pli 2.1.
