hi quick question before I flash my Dreambox 800se box

Do I need a usb pen drive, or will it simply access my computers desktop (image file) and flash from there?

I only ask since my m8s nicked my pen drive !

No because it needs an ip address for it to work.

tried using various browsers on mac but when i hit flash nothing happens, waited about 20 mins each time and nothing

Fairly new to dm800, but flashing from browser can be done by applying power to box whilst holding power button on/off switch at front of box. IP Address will appear on lcd display (if the box is connected to network)

Just flash the ssl82/84 nfi file 1st, then flash your nfi image file over the top mate.

Problem solved. Seemed to be browser compatibility issue. Just need to use an extremely old version of browser. Thanks.

Hello There i cant seem to get the web browser to work i can generate the ip from the dreambox then insert it in the browser the correct page loads then i browse for my nfi file click ok and nothing happens any ideas ?
