hi guys, i to am having similar problems with my newly purchased dm800se. i have no problems finding three sats that i like however when i scan the sats for channels very few are found, infact only 36 on 28* and they appear to be italian (rai) and radio. theres somthing amiss, can somone shed some light on this. im sure its somthing simple. anybody have any ideas. i have no problems with my tm 1500ci connected to the dish. so im assumeing its a box/operater issue. oh and its got peterpan image loaded if that has any bearing on it. regards lips.Comment

great help dude thanks
geat hepl dude thanks

Go down to "Positioner storage"

Go down to "Positioner storage"
Use L/R keys to set the postion number that is to be setup
Press the GREEN button to store that location
After you have stored this position got back to satfind and change the satellite to the next one you want to view, when you have a lock on this satellite exit again and proceed with the satellite positioner again .
You will need to perform this for each position you intend to set up in line with what you did in stage 1
P.S. i had already put settings in so i did not have to scan any sats in.
I hope this can help a few others out

You will need to put the correct long and lat in that matches your home address here mine as an example.
Google dishpointer.com and put in your full address including postcode.

Sounds like you are not assigning each stored position a different number, The 800se will not store the numbers automatically you have to do these yourself.
Probably the easier way of numbering so you dont get confused is store 28.2? - No.28, 19.2? - No.19 etc...
