Good image but the picture quality isnt great .
I tried it on my 50" Plasma and it looks dark and blurry ,I had to increase the contrast alot to improve it.
Much sharper picture on the Dream Elite Phoenix image I was previously using.

God bless your eyesight Fano ! , also had dream elite but never noticed any change in quality .You might be splitting hairs there . All I can say is I changed image and now have 1channell , icefilms,youtube and tsonlinetv all stable with no green screens I'll take that over picture quality any day !!

Picture quality is definitely inferior ,it looks washed out and duller.
I had to increase the contrast on the set to ~90% to get a bright enough pic on my Plasma ,dangerously high levels to be honest.
I've seen other people mention the poor picture quality on other forums.
Its a huge pity too as Open Pli is a fine image apart from that one issue but alas its a major one.

Thats a shame Fano , I'm not really "techie" on such issues I rely on forums like this and good ppl like dOOds to help us along. Maybe some one might have an answer or if you do sort it let us all know !! Best of luck mate .

i think the picture is outstanding..He must have superhero eyes.....You can try this guys..menu/setup/software management/manage extensions/ and install autoresolution & video enhancement settings...picture should now be stunning..

what bootloader do you have?? if below ssl84b then you need to flash the bootloader first to ssl84b to update it and then flash the image..is this what you mean mate??

Yeh doods,I flashed boot 84b ,then image...seem to get green screen on scan or channel list add...losing Ethernet connection then box goes off...it's already on sim 201/ ssl84b
