    problems updating

    ok i have a dm800hd clone sim 201 ss82 with sim201-SS82-de-133dv3PHOENIX2-dm800-13052011 image on it

    fancied a change so tried to flash over via web DreamboxUK_v1.1_DM800_SIM201_SSL82 and it crashed my box with and error message something like Welcome to 7020.com no ca found ,after lots of hours reading and using a patched version of dreamup i in the prcoess of flashing the original firmware back over with 60 mins to go

    any reason why DreamboxUK_v1.1_DM800_SIM201_SSL82 would crash it? which ones are safe to patch straight over via http

      try these bootloaders

      Digital Kaos - Downloads - sim201 84a & 84b bootloader

      you can then use any image
      sim201_ss84b:
      new dm800 sim2 ssl 84b
      sim2 just released the new secondstage loader ssl-84b
      with this new ssl the user will be able to use original drivers 9-11-2011 without modification or adding old files
      the new ssl is used only with drivers 9-11-2011 and is incompatible with old drivers

          so do i upload these via dreamup or http straight after the image and then reboot the dreambox

                  ok cheers m8 5 mins to see if old image went back on then ill try the image again bootloaders first via http
