Are all image channel database formats the same?
For example I have a DM800HD clone with Gemini 4.4 modified image for bl69 due to SIM version - if I were to use DreamboxEdit to "backup" my channel database and bouquests and then reflashed my box with another image i.e. Blackhole, would I be able to restore the saved channel database and bouquets back to my dreambox without having to re-scan the satellites and set the bouquets up?
I due vaguely remember trying this at some point in the past - although I'm not sure what new image I used, and it wouldn't recognise the database once it was re-stored - I probably did something wrong though!
