sim 2.01 updgrade to BL76 for gemini v5.00 for clones

yes mate , they will all be fine on clone dm800 , provided its sim 2.01

southpaw, I have given your suggestion a try on my clone 2.01 bl72 and I've tried it via meoboot and also in flash and on both options the remote is not working and so cannot do anything.

Any ideas? Cheers.

make sure remote is set to "dream" and not "tv" mate , failing that , is the box functioning , try using "web remote" by logging in thru web browser to see if any response from box ,

btw , are you sure your sim is 2.01 ??

yes , provided you have sim 2.01 , that screeenshot info is Irrelavant

so...i have flashed my dreambox with a bl76 image and i got the no ca found error.....so not all clones with sim 2.01 can get instantly from bl72 a bl75 or 76 image.

now i reflashed back with the bl72 gemini 4.5 image and clone is up and running.......

Yeah definitely was using 'dream' not 'tv'. Once flashed I can see the channel that was showing at the time before flashing it with 133 and the sound etc are fine. Its just the remote will not function at all .... weird!!
Reflashed with dreamelite...72.nfi and all works fine, I think that also confirms that the sim is 2.01?

I have sim 2.01 BUT when someone has a clone with sim 2.01 and bootloader 72 he must FIRST flash his clone with a patched bl75 image.....I flashed with this
''sim201e-75-_DreamEliteBH_DM800_12A'' which INCLUDES the new bootloader AND a new kernel.

After flashing with the above I flashed my clone with this
''SSL76B FOR SIM 2.01''

after that my clone has the latest bootloader and from yesterday it is working PERFECTLY with the latest

''Dream Elite BH 1.3.3 OE1.6 DM800 Multiboot ''
