Your detailled post just saved me as i'm in the same boat trying to update my old dreambox and i'm on bootloader #72 with 2.01 sim.

Could you possibly dropbox me the files you used. It is impossible to find them on the internet. I'm searching and searching. I would be very grateful!

Nope......you are wrong.

I have sim 2.01 BUT when someone has a clone with sim 2.01 and bootloader 72 he must FIRST flash his clone with a patched bl75 image.....I flashed with this
''sim201e-75-_DreamEliteBH_DM800_12A'' which INCLUDES the new bootloader AND a new kernel.

After flashing with the above I flashed my clone with this
''SSL76B FOR SIM 2.01''

after that my clone has the latest bootloader and from yesterday it is working PERFECTLY with the latest

''Dream Elite BH 1.3.3 OE1.6 DM800 Multiboot ''
