After recommendation from alom5 I have had this image running for over a week.
      Digital Kaos - Downloads - BACKUP DM800se SIM210 SSL84b - Patched by riyaad

Have to say this image for a DM800 se is flawless. Everything works as should be expected without any green screen or crashes. If you want an image that is stable and easy to navigate take a look. Thanks again almon5.

I don't have wireless so don't know. But I think there are plugins available for wireless from Ts panel...which is on the image

Alom i would like to thank you for your excellent recommendation. I have installed your image with no trouble at all and everything works as it should.

The only things i needed to do were

              1) Turn DHCP on in network settings as i do not have a fixed ip.

              2) Setup the picons on the usb as described above.

              3) Setup my CAM (i use mgcamd)

All very straight forward after following your instructions above

Also this image looks like it can be used with wireless - something to try tomorrow (i am wired in at the moment)

              Thanks

              Craig

                  Hi Alom
Read through the recommendations and tried your image last night.
                  Seems good so far.

I am a bit amateur with dreambox stuff. I have flashed the image no probs and loaded my own set of bouqets.

Things I need to sort are:

                  Set up cccam
Set up picons to load from usb
Set up EPG to download everyday to usb
Set up HDD and the timer record (want it to auto start recording when I flick to a channel so I can rewind/forward if I need to)

Will get started on this lot tonight.

Cccam can be downloaded via ts panel or via the blue button...glass univ cam manager...

Picons need to be in Picon/picon on your USB

Crossepg...need to set auto download in the configure menu to time of your choice...tho I don't have that as it downloads very quickly so I just do it manually when epg has gone

auto timeshift is already setup so you can rewind and pause

                      Hi Alom
Liking the image, just struggling with the cccam.
I manage to install 2.2.1 via tscam, but when I FTP into the box, I cant seem to find the file to add my line into.
(usually under etc, but its not their)

On etc their are 3 files from installing your image:
                      cccam.channelinfo
                      CCcam.prio
                      CCcam.providers

But ccam.cfg does not appear their.

I believe this means that in your back the cccam.cfg does not exist and need to be put there with ftp. Confirm ?

Has anyone tested the wifi with this image? or better tested it with sunray sr4 ?

Not asked to post image with cam so have deleted all cams.

When you install a cam it should put the cccam.cfg file in. Otherwise ftp the file across.

This is a backup of dm800se....sim210.

                            Flash only to same box

Hi alom5 Now I know I'm a bit dense but how do I get the cccam.cfg file into the var>etc/etc folder please? The most annoying thing is I've done it before but can't remember how!!!! I've got the file on computer hard drive and when I FTP I can see the cfg file which I highlight, I then highlight the etc/etc folder from the box and push the right to left button the transfer box flashes up as normal but when I then open the etc/etc folder it's not there????

                                Hi m8
transfer the cfg file when you have the ect folder open you are probable transfering your config file to the root of the img.
                                cheers johny48
