    i didn't really fancy the vix images for some reason......but if its as you say......i'm sure as hell gonna have a look. nice1

    and tbh i don't wanna be running scripts and all that....just flash and install

      Tbh it's not running a script, you just replace a file called skin_display96.xml found in /usr/share/enigma2 with a custom one. If you want to give it a try let me know and I can upload it.

          i don't like them golden ones they don't look very good. the ones i'm running now are super.

          i was going to try the vix image, but as you sai d its external flash only.....but can't get meoboot. any ideas. the one from tspanel dosen't install. guess we need one for 800se.

            heres a few of the oleds that i got on mine at present. much better than thegold ones i think. what you think boys.

              Yes that's the one I have also, for OpenPli image the standard picons work on the OLED also, for other images the tweaked skin_display is required sometimes.

                  i got them on hdd. just downloaded them direct to hdd from the newnigma panel. much nicer than the gold ones wouldn't you say satsmo.?

                          is it wise to have them on hdd , always thought usb was recommended method , to prolong the life of the hdd

                            I dont understand why they would effect the life of the HDD.

                            Just worked out why the HDD would be constantly running to display them.

                            I dont mind them on flash the end of the day I am only using picons for 28.2 and my receiver is set up with everything I need.

                              they are the ones i downloaded from the newnigma panel. when i get home i will attach them for you later mate.

                              i prefer to leave them on the hdd to leave more space in flash so no green screens. hdd dosen't really get used for much else.

                                cant see them really causing to much hassle to the lifespan of your HDD.
