dm800 se image

hi guys just got a dm800 se and tried a couple of images but none seem as easy to use as dreamelite phoenix v1.33d that i had on my 800hd pro. on boot my box says sim 2 & 4 boot 82 so can i put the dream elite phoenix v1.33d sim 2.01 boot 82 on my se. also what would happen if i loaded a boot 84 image on my box as there seems to be a lot more images for 84 bootloader. cheers kevin

se will be boot 2.10m8,new enigma 2 sat4 fun on the downloads,dont use 2.01 thats the 800 hd

i have merlin2 and with the tspanel it is first class

Flashing a different bootloader wont do anything flashing an image designed for a different sim like sim2 or ferrari will semi brick it.

so as long as its a sim2 clone safe image it should be ok to flash a ssl84 on a 82 box

Yes mate all you're doing is updating the drivers.
All the No Ca Found posts are normally people flashing a Sim2 box with Ferrari image and visa versa.

I've got a dm800 HD clone sim 201 and have found a dream elite Phoenix ssl84 that I am going to flash because the old dream elite image was bang on.

Or flashing a raw SSL84 image which doesn't have the bootloader included in the image - it's a very common mistake and more common than the Sim2 <> Ferrari mix up.

DM800se sim? ssl84

Wondering which image is the best for my DM800se sim2 SSL84. With current image, I 'n not able to connect with RJ45 cable to the dream. I always get a error message saying : error 10057 in function send socket is not connected !

Could this be link to a wrong image ?
