Hi, Can I flash TSPanel manually using USB stick. I tried a couple of times and when loading it says 1 error.

Hi, unfortunately after reading up and down on how to install tspanel, I still can't get it right. I've downloaded numerous versions of tspanel, latest the one above here, extracted it and put the .ipk file in the /temp catalogue. I may add that I'm running Black Hole 2.0.9.1 (latest) image on my Vu+ Duo2 Box. Well, use DCC to FTP to /var/volatile/tmp and I can see the .ipg file being there. After this I enter the Vu+ menu, choosing to add .ipk, the Vu+ finds the file and tries to insall it, but while performing a check of the file, it Returns an errormessage, which is only visible for a short while, stating something about architechture mismatch or something like that, then the process ends in restarting the GUI. Anyone who has an idea of what I'm doing wrong? Because it is probably me who has overseen something :-) any comments would be highly appreciated :-)

it's easier to learn to add add the extra's needed manually than using
the ts panel, but if you wish to use it this is how to load it with the DCC

use the latest E2 v1.50 DCC panel and load the tspanel this way

you load the tspanel after the image of your choice is flashed
open the dcc and click [TOOLS] then [packages]
in the green section on the left of the panel
a list of the packages on your box will upload
under the list are two bar strips [update package list]
and [upload package] click upload package bar a window will
open find and click on th tspanel file then click open on the
window the file will now load on your package list and will give
the loading info in the protocol pane under the package list.
once loaded,close the dcc and re start your box when it
re boots you will find the tspanel in your menu list ready to use
just remember to use the vu section and the items for the image
you have on the box this method also works with dreambox models
and i would think with every linux box models,but as above only use
the the correct linux model section for all the extra's for the image your using

Hi i'm trying to update my dm800 with this ts panel and for the life of me i can't get it to work. I install from local extension then reboot but is does not show up in menu? please help......from a newbie
