    Wireless

Hi people! I currently have a dr 800hd set up to my tv which is all good but I'm looking to put the tv on the wall and lose the wire so my questions are can i do this with a dr 800 se (send channels wirelessly)?

If so could there be any loss of picture quality?

Any advice/opinions would be greatly appreciated!

you can get Wireless HD extenders but at the end of the day they both need to be plugged into a wall socket and you must have a wall socket behind your TV to hide the wires or else where is the wire from the TV going?

Its probably cheaper to route all the cables through the wall and re-plaster for what a decent set of HD extenders will cost

No, the DR 800 SE or HD doesn’t natively support wireless transmission to a TV. But yes, you can achieve wireless video transmission using a wireless HDMI transmitter kit, which works with either model.

The DR 800 SE (Dreambox 800 HD se) only outputs video via HDMI / SCART. Wi-Fi on these boxes is for networking/streaming to PCs, not for sending live HDMI video directly to a TV.
