i was about to flash an image on my dreambox dm500 last night when just after i connected my box to pc with null modem cable and hit on connect on dreamup smoke started to come from my box now i cant scan channels and dont have any channels at all.i dont even have the option now to scan channels i think its something to do with where the cable from dish goes into cheers

if smoke came out of the box its dangerous dont use it ,if its new get it replaced if its old its time to buy a new one.
