DM500-S Setup help

Just got myself a DM500-S, i have managed to get the satellite setup working for my motorised settup but i am struggling on the firmware and to what i actually need.

I have had a read through the net and seen alot of people running gemini which i believe is the firmware? Is this the best one to use.

Also i would like to use cs eventually so i think it is cccam that i need for that?

I am unsure what to do next as i dont want to load up new files etc and mess it up,i have read the getting the best from the dm500 thread but to be honest i am still struggling. if someone could clarify what i need it would be a big help as i am totally new to the dreambox.

flash your box with pli jade max var image. then you can d/load your cam from there server and also the cfg file

I also got a new DM500S, I have read different threads to how to set it up properly. But would greatly appreciate if someone could help me to find out the reliable quality sub.
