I am looking for some help. Dreambox had not used it for a year. Channels are all working. Anyway have set it back up. I needed a new LNB which is now been fitted. The problem is when i open Dreambox control centre and go to FTP var files ect are missing on the left handside. Do i have to re-flash box or is there another way of getting files from dreambox to computer. Also says telnet not connected.

did you change the password from dreambox when you used it last..?
DCC defaults to username "root" password "dreambox"

I would reflash it its been a year since you used it could do with updating rescanning updating cams good luck.Comment

Doesn't need a reflash.
All that's requiured here is a new bouquet import and latest C*C*m install, will take 5 minutes tops.
FTP into box, update c line in var/config
Download to latest C*C*m and install latets bouquets.

i only said i would , the image will be outdated plus the cam, with dcc or dreamup wouldn't take 30 mins and you'd be up to date
usually the reason they update images is to iron out glitches but thats just me Comment
