    dm500 and RF modulator.

could someone confirm if i'm right or wrong in my thinking here.

i have dm500 and want to connect it to different tv's around the house without using scart.

would an rf modulator do this?

on the modulator there is a 'to tv' and an 'ant in' socket, do i connect the aerial from the tv to the 'to tv' and connect a patch from my dm500 to the 'ant in'.

    is this correct?

The 'ant in' is for an UHF aerial. Depending on the connections your modulator has, you would connect your dreambox to it via (usually) either scart or composite lead and then use the 'to tv' output to connect to tv/distibution system.

Hi, can you tell me if you got this working? I need to take Scart from DM500 and convert to Rf out to TV. Is this possible?
          Thanks

I have it working on a DM800 and its feeding into the kids bedrooms.
Be sure to get the digital ones as the switch type are a pain in the arse.
With digital you just flick tru your channels on the modulator and it finds the correct one to broadcast on.
