motor settings for dm500s

i have to setup a mates dreambox. He already has a motorised system with a technomate and the motor is already set in the correct positions.

i would just like to know the procedure i have to go through to setup the motor on the dreambox

Setting up Box ( based on the Img Pli Jade3)
Ok flash the DM with pli jade 3 once flashed set the box up and turned it on. Screw in the cable to the back.
Select English, then regular lnb outside usa & Canada.

Pick complex then on the new screen press green to save. Once saved keep pressing exit till you?re on a blank screen.

Press menu then option 6.
Now you can either goto settings and network to set static ip or let the dchp assign ip.

Go to downloads then update the menu and enable menu updates then in software management > downloads > softcams download CCcam 2.1.4 and CCcam config. Reboot Box. Menu option 5

Now once box boots press menu then option 6 then sat and transponders.

Pick Rotor setup. Untick the gotoXX as it never works right with a DM500s. Well I have never fully managed to get it working.
Press blue button for next page. Now in the motor config page change the satellite to 28.2 Move the dish till its at 28e and store pos 1. Now if all is set up correctly the rest of the sats can be done manually by moving the motor by using the remote and the box.

Change the Sat to 19e and then in the direction option, step the motor right. You will see the snr fluctuate again but keep moving it slowly till you see the LOCK and SYNC get a X in each box. Now the SNR% will vary from sat to sat but get the highest % you can while both have the X then store to sat position 2.
Continue this process for any other sat you can find. I can get 28, 26, 23, 19, 16, 13 and 9 all east. But its up to you want you want to save and store. Now once you have done that press yell from previous page then Green to save. Now goto Automatic Multi Sat Scan.
Select the sats you have just installed then green to search. This will take just over a hour so just let it run through.
