Help required here !

Hello guys, My 500s come through about 1 hour ago, I was just wondering i've heard allot about a regularly updated EPG that can be flashed into this box, But I also am unsure about how to get cccam working on the box and how to put the CFG file onto it, could you help me out please!

Not sure, Its brand new, think its enigma image, and no no cccam is on the box !

download CCcam from the plugins menu, ftp your .cfg file to var/etc

Flash it with Pli jade3 or OpenPLi, guide for settting up the EPG HERE

CCcam and CCcam cfg can be downloaded from pli's server, from memory, it's blue>software management>downloads>softcams/cardservers

I used to use Flash Wizard Pro 6.3 to flash my DM500 via LAN.It's easy to use and pretty obvious how to use it once you run the programme.

What happened to your old sig, that told people to read the stickies and forum search to find answers, btw - That was good advice, and if you'd followed it you could have had your box up and running by now without even starting this thread!

fw6 if very good , its in the downloads
i got jade loaded image from a mate , it updates the epg its self , full 3 day , can set reminders ect on this epg 10/10
if things go wrong with the box then may need to dreamup via null cable , all in all i like the 500s the most of the boxs iv tryed ,

you know he lent his old sig , of a differnt poster.

tbh i thougth it could use the same images on the tm and dm?

No mate, i wish. TMs have different hardware (and processors i think?) There are a couple of DM ported images for the Techno's, Gemini and DS team for example, but they're really poor. So the only team really doing anything with TMs is UR Team, and they're disappointing, they still haven't properly fixed bugs from 12months ago (wide screen bug -that they were given a fix for by digidude months ago) and their images seem to be designed for payservers that sell pre-configured boxes, i.e hidden cam configs and passwords protection on set-up/config menus to prevent user access. Rant over!

Its ok mate, got a better understanding there, I don't understand still how to flash the box and whats the best img, also is the Cccam with the image or what ? let me know please guys, regards, Ellis !
