    dreambox dm500s

    can someone please help.

    how do i re-tune my dm500s.. channels are not showing coming up scrambled, want to retune..

    i am in the london if that will help

      first reboot box and modem..then if that dont work, tell us what image u have

                  restarted modem and box still not showing channels on start up says cccam 2.1.4 i think this is the image version..

                              ok..try this.. menu> setup > satellites and transponders > automatic transponder scan.. start scan. of course ur server may be down or ur dish may have been blown out of whack or ur tuner could be buggered.. are you getting ANY channels ?

                                  yes picking up the fta 1-5 channels.. off to do skool run... will try what you suggested above then be back here to update.. thanks for your assistance so far

                                      ok try what i said..ur tuners ok and sos ur dish, obv ur net is too otherwise u wouldnt be posting here .. try what i said above.. if no joy; then i would put it down to server prob or network prob

                                          my mother has the same box and its working for her.. and she don't live too far away.. what else could it be..? could it be the image file that needs updating?

                                              ur just on sly channels? area dont matter at all with sly.. is she on same server? did you totally power off box and modem when u rebooted? can u access the dm's web page?

                                                  yes i powered down completely.. she is on same server.. its just strange.. i have no clue about these boxes.. i have starview and i can set them up no probs.. easy i supose.. but not same quality ..
