Best image dm500s

Hi

What are the best images to install on dm500 clone? Issue I have is I have pli jade 3 installed and for some channels it's taking it's time for channels to display. Sometimes I would have to forward reverse channel and then channel appears. Is there a reason why this happens? What can be done to resolve this?

What is fast zapping? How do I check if this is enabled?

Is there a link to pli jade3 to install as I think my image may be faulty possibly. What's the difference between dm500s and dm500plus? Are they the same when it comes to images?

@gio65, remember, that on encrypted channels, your dm must communicate with the router, over the web to your providers server and then back.. sometimes you get a slight lag.. nowt to do with the image you have

Pli Jade 3 is my favourite for the DM500.

yup... pli3 jade as well... very stable image for the dm500

which image has the best epg built in. Commando epg is brill but the image seems a bit dodgy. Have to restart camd sometimes even with fix installed

Go with a Pli image I used to use Pli Jade3 And OpenPli Maxvar on my 500s (no longer use them)

Very good images and allow a 3 day graphical EPG which I couldnt find at the time on any other image.

As mentioned they are also very stable.

Yeah I tried the Commando at the time because i was told it had EPG but to be honest I really hated the image.
