scanning eurobird 13.0

    scanning eurobird 13.0

    i have a motorised dish.When i go to 13.0 and lock on and do a scan i only find 90 channels but they are all bskyb and i dont seem to find any german channels or anythin like that. any ideas why this is, cheers....

    Sound as though ur dish isnt aligned correctly m8, shouldnt be picking up BSB channels at 13.0e

      Yeah, definatley bad alignment. How did you set it up?

        sorry was away the weekend, i found 5w and then 28 and 42 so thought i would have all sats then but obviously not. i just stored them as i found them but probably not the right sats i'm pointing at...

          Did you set the default motor position (position 0) correctly? The default position of the motor and dish needs to be south. You can point the dish at your 'true south' satellite (Thor 0.8w if your in England). Using USALS makes it easier. When the dish is setup, enter the usals menu and enter your long/lat. Select a sat, say 28.2, and let the dish turn to it. Then get up your ladder and move the motor, dish until you get a signal on 28.2.
