    homeplug

    hey guys i have a problem here. my dm500s box arrived today and i flashed it, scanned for the channels and entered the cccam via ftp, now the problem is the freeview channels are working only not the subscribed channels is it because dm500s dont work on homeplugs?

    please help thanks

    Why wouldn't they work with homeplugs? If you were able to connect to your box from your computer via FTP then the homeplugs are working. Download cccaminfo and check your c line.

      thanks for replying pal i tried to connect it with my homeplug but it didnt connect no ip address but when i took it upstairs, connected it to my router there was an ip address, my c line is fine mate and how do you download cccaminfo?

          you download the cccam info from the download plugin section from the server within the image.. its called cccam panel if your using pli jade image
          dm500hd -dm500hd v2-vu+duo- triax 1.1m - inverto lnb - technomate 2300 motor- linksys ddwrt router

              is one your homeplugs plugged into a surge protection unit, these are know to cause problems

                i used to use homeplugs but since the wifi bridges come about at ?17.99 i always use them now and the are fantastic no network issues at all

                  I prefer the even cheaper option - 10 metres of cat5 cable @ about ?6.
