Communication set up

Please can somebody help me with communication set up.
My Dreambox IP is 192.168.1.2 and my router IP is 192.168.1.1.
When i am in Communication set up and i try to test i got the following:

1. IP 192.168.1.2 RED light
2. Netmask 255.255.255.0 RED light
3. Nameserver 192.168.1.1 GREEN light
4. Gateway 192.168.1.1 Green light

What is that i have to do in order to get all 4 GREEN lights.

Are you using DHCP? Did you tick DHCP in Communications Setup and restart box?

Im guessing this is on the DM800 not the 500 as in your topic?

You need to go through the network setup wizard mate, if that does not work then check your cables etc. Or you could try doing the restart network option, also a couple of restarts mixed up in there should do the job, sometimes it can be a bit of hit or miss I think..

Thanks, i did not tick DHCP, restarted it 100 times but still haven't got top 2 green lights.

Try using DHCP

o tick dhcp to enable it and exit out of communication setup ,that allows your router to see the box and it will automaticly assisgn the box an ip address etc ,if you go back in to communication your box should have been given an ip address and the other fields will also have been filled.
