    Need help with Gemini 4.7

    Hi all,

I've been reading this forum for long time and this is my first post here, I'd like to say how great and informative this forum is.

I have few questions here and I'm hoping to get answers for them; i have successfully flashed a Gemini 4.7 image on D500s box using DreamUp, ran through the setup, scanned the satellites and i have all the channels. whenever i go to Communication setup and do Test it comes back with red red green green, although the box can connect to the internet without any issues (installing plugins/addons from Gemini server) it also accessible from FTP, Telnet and web UI. Is there anything wrong with this? am i missing something?

Now about Cccam; I FTP'd the Cccam2.2.1.tar.gz file to /tmp and installed it manually from the box menu, i have also started it from the blue panel but still i do not get any channels. Any ideas?!

your help is very much appreciated.

would imagine you need to add a cline ...

you will have to use google for that info as it is a banned subject here.

Ps ... welcome to digital kaos.

Thanks for the reply, When FTPing to /var/etc i can not find the .cfg file!! Does that mean there is something wrong with the Cccam installation? or can i just create the file add it there?!

ccam.cfg is in my etc folder if thats any help.
Personally i would reflash with Pli jade maxvar as far as i know there server still works and would save all the messing.
Take it you have added a good set of bouquets and your ccam is working?

          Andy.

In my humble opinion Pli is the best image for the Dm 500.
Takes up less space and has simple interface.

              Andy.

Thats the one you want pli-Jade-dm500-20090627-6494.img

On the website just click on the bar chart at the top and select the first one that says Dm500,

                        Andy.

                          Hi Guy's,

I've flashed pli jade 3 Max var image, and everything is working so fine so far.

Thank you for you help, much appreciated. I've learned alot through this experience, but still have some questions that better to be in separate threads.
