can anyone tell me what do i need to downloads and what cables i need for dreambox 500s

Software:

Dreamup
Flashfxp
Dreamboxedit

Hardware:

Modem + router
null modem cable

Flash an image onto your box using Dreamup, you need the null modem cable for this.

i recommend using this image: Pli Jade 3 http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...d=751&act=down

2. Setup your box as per regulation eg: 16:9, satellite configuration etc. You can scan now, or wait and transfer ready made bouquets later, to do this just exit out of everything.

3. Make sure your box is connected to router. Download the latest menu by pressing the blue button and selecting the download latest menu option, then exit out of everything.

4. Press blue > software management > downloads > softcams, then select CCcam, then select CCcam config, then exit out of everything.

5. Press blue > Softcam setup, then select default softcam as CCcam, press green, then exit out of everything.

6. Open Dreamboxedit, click on options, enter in your details: ip address of box, username, password, then click test ip connection, select you settings (satellite for enigma1) and save then exit.

7. Click on FTP in dreamboxedit, click on browse and select your saved bouquets. (a ready made bouquet set can be downloaded on this thread, go to the last few pages in thread to get the latest updates http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...ularly-163750/ ) ***make sure when you are saving them to your location that you unzip the file first.

once the bouquet location has been selected click 'send files to dreambox' let it transfer, then click "reload settings on dreambox", then exit.

You should now have all your channels saved on your dreambox.

8. Open flashfxp, login using your details. click on var/etc, then right click on cccam.cfg and select edit. It is here that you can enter your C:lines and F:lines
