Dreambox 500 Black Screen

I have a dreambox 500, was working great since the guy installed it a few weeks ago. Goes out of sync the odd time but turning the box off and on cured it.

Yesterday woke up to watch Man U and got a black screen. This has happened before when using the encrypted channels but leaving it for no more than 10 mins fixed it.

All day and today its still not working.

Im just wondering if its the box, the subscription or the network connection. Everything seems fine and ordinary channels are working fine.

Im in UK, dish is 100% perfect.

i would say its subscription..but reboot box and router first...

go to plugins by pressing yellow and see if its got c**am.info installed, if it has check to see if the sea lion is active. regards mdt

My DM500s doesn't reboot anymore. I see just the green light on, but can't access the receiver. The remote its OK, but can't communicate with the receiver. I have unplugged the poewer cable several times but nothing's changed. Please help....!

have you tried flashing it with a different image that has a cccam already installed?

use dreamup reflash it most if not all images do not have ccam installed its an addon unless you backed up your image you will have to start over

Free channels are working fine. My network is performing 100%, I have fibre optic. I have went to the ip address of my dreambox using my web browser but it is asking for username and password, I do not know it, is it default??

I have pressed yellow and I enter NabiloCP Yellow Panel - Plugins with four options "forum" "shoutbox" "addons" "scripts"

I press yellow to enter addons and when I go to the addons uninstall panel I have the option to unistall Ccam_213_complete.nab

So I think ccam is installed, plus when I restart my box, it comes up at the start "loading ccam".

Got the username and password and I can access the dreambox settings from my web browser.

I can tell that ccam is installed ok but dont know if theres any settings i should be changing.

Any ideas......

Well I clicked start emu on the ccam tab but thats all.

Is it luck or did I do something......

Please advise, I missed the football last weekend and I dont want the same thing to happen tonight or this weekend......

Restarting the emu has restarted the sea lion. Check in your download section to see if you could download C**am.info to your box, this utility will allow you to see if your box is connected to the server providing the service.

Anybody know if the One For All URC8603 works with these boxes.
