DM500 Losing Channel Settings

Hi is iot normal for the DM500 to loose all its settings every time its switched off (ie unplugged) I have to do a complete scan if I dont use the box for a couple of days???

I have the same problem on a 7020 box. I only used one single satellite, no diseqc. Every time the box reboots, it loses the satellite configuration.

I am using a PLi image (Jade) from 2009. Lots of people saying to change the image, however I tried many images, all of them the same trouble.

A google search shows lots of others having the same problem.

I hope someone can help.
