HELP NOOB NEEDS HELP

so here is what im working with

box : dm500s
image: digital kaos 1.1

problem i recentle lost all the channels that you usually have to pay for they guy i bought the box off said he wants another ?100 to fix it for another 6 months before i will happen again i tried flashing it with a new image and everything but it still doesnt work i can see the channels but no picture comes up the free view channels work i live in the uk can some one help me please im a student n cant afford ?100 every six months

if some one can tell me whats wrong with it and show me a guide or tutorial i can follow it
