flashing db 500s

using dream up tried to flash image but all i get is this

2:13:14 PM Ping result: OK, box is alive and speaking to us ;-)
2:13:47 PM Uploading file to box...
2:13:54 PM ERROR , upload aborted!
i didnt erase any thing the image is pli-jade i think its only 5mb any help would be great

Try a different version of dreamup. That is your problem

do a flash erase and try again, if not try different version of dreamup

You really need to try a different version of dreamup as suggested by cgscott.

thanks finally got it flashed with pli but after scan which could only do on astra 19.2 got some channels could view allot could not. the dish is 80 cm sky dish which i use for fta channels on old box would this dish be big enough to recieve hot bird or other sats about

no its a fixed dish use to subscribe with it a few years ago but vm knocked off me cable box so trying this out

scan on 28.2e then NOT 19.2

when i go to sat finder all i get is astra 19.2e dont understand it but today there has been trees blown down wind at 70mph so maybe dish moved but this is the only one coming up

hmm dont think thats the prob tbh... the sats should still be in the image.. which way the dish is pointing makes no odds,

The dish moving won't affect what satellites your receiver has in tuner config. Try updating satellites.xml.

try this. menu>setup>satellites and transponders> automatic transponder scan> drop down box astra 2b.2e

when the box is flashed the sats are pre loaded in the image? which image would you recomend
