    dm500s no sound

    Hi, everyone.
My 500s sound has been getting lower over pass few months, now I can hardly hear it at all. Tried both scart and RCA cables and still the same. Installed a few different images, but still no sound. Is it time to buy a new one or I read on another thread about changing the PT8211 chip. If so where could I buy one? Could it be the tuner has packed up? Any help and advice greatly recieved.

      Hi aissa09,
Thanks for your advice, it was your thread I think I read. I'll have a go at changing PT8211, got nothing to lose anyway.
Do you know any where to buy one, googled it and there all China and Hong Kong, mostly in batches of 100.
      Thanks again aissa09.
